Jon was the first born son and was delivered to us at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland 12-28-1965. We will fondly remember him as a tireless, industrious, and intelligent person. He could have chosen many paths but decided on a military career. There's no question in our minds demands and stresses placed on military folks often leads to an earlier than normal end to life on this earth. Jon experienced a period of painful treatment as the end neared but did so bravely and with dignity. We pray the Lord will bless him and keep him from further pain for eternity.

Ronda-
Please accept our deepest condolences. Your loss is a loss for all of us. Few people are as impactful as Jon was. I appreciated his sense of humor and his friendship. What I appreciated more than anything was how much he cared for and supported you. He brought a smile to your face and gave you the wind beneath your wings.
We love you and will continue praying for you in this heartbreaking time.
